Five Little Ladies Soap

I like to try new natural beauty products, and when I found Five Little Ladies Soap– Their Kelp soap was just screamin’ at me!
Try me! Try me! At this point I had never tried hair soap, or used kelp for anything but a supplement. I couldn’t not help but to be very curious!

We recieved their Kelp Hair soap along with Rupunzel’s secret hair soap.
Rupunzel soap is made with: lye, water, castor oil, apricot kernel oil, jojoba oil, palm oil, ground nutmeg, vitamin E, essential oils of clary sage, naiouli, and Virginia cedarwood.
and the Kelp soap is made with:Ingredients: Castor Oil, Canola Oil, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E (in Soy oil), Kelp, Water, Lye, Eucalyptus Essential Oil.

Here is how you use these rockin’ hair soaps as described by Five Little Ladies:
1. Rub soap along wet hair and massage to work up a nice lather. Rinse. Repeat if desired. (I usually desire..)

2. Apply a mixture of one part Apple Cider Vinegar or Lemon juice with one part water to hair. Massage throughout, then rinse. (we keep this mixture in a spray bottle in our shower). We don’t do this every time, only when our hair feels like it’s starting to get a soap scum build up. Some find that they don’t need to bother with this step, I’ve heard others say they do this each time they wash their hair.

3. Style as usual. We don’t use a separate conditioner, but you could if you wanted to. I have one daughter with long curly hair that sometimes needs a bit of leave in conditioner to help with tangles

These soaps have a higher percentage of oils that make a really nice lather so you can get your hair nice and bubbly like you would with liquid shampoo. I have very thin hair, and the idea of putting extra oils in my hair scares me a little, but after trying these soaps I am extremely impressed! I skipped the apple cider vinegar/lemon juice step, but will try it soon.

This is a picture I took of myself after trying Rupunzel’s Secret Hair soap!
I used the soap alone, and did not need an ounce of detangler- and that is usually a must! On top of that, while using my blow-dryer, my hair seemed to dry a little faster than usual. As a busy mom, the last thing I need or want is spending extra time blow drying my tresses.
I even used it on my littles, one who has this hair like me, and the other who has very thick hair like daddy and for the record it did not leave any of our hair oily like I worried.

Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some hair soap pamperin’ and visit Five Little Ladies Soap! You can get three full-sized bars of the Kelp or Rapunzel’s secret hair soap for $7.50!

Feelin’ pretty,
Brandi
